- NNIA provides new neighbors either emergency or long-term support
- The Steering Committee reviews the needs of individuals and families who have been referred to NNIA for long-term support. We establish volunteer teams and provide resources for those deemed most in need.
- NNIA may provide one-time emergency support to individuals or families with a single need such as financial support for rent, food assistance, locating emergency medical care, etc. The new neighbor in need applies for NNIA support and the Steering Committee reviews the needs and allocates resources where possible.
- Individual faith and civic members of NNIA raise funds to meet financial needs of the new neighbors for both long-term and emergency support. Members also provide in-kind donations of goods such as furniture and household supplies.
